Great value for money.warm and clean.very central location
I'm fairly happy. Self check-in is easy and convenient. A few perks like Netflix. Nice room. Only downside is some knobhead leaving an extractor fan on all night in the building opposite room 6. Can just about get by after a couple of pints but might not be great for a light sleeper
For the price, this was amazing, central Manchester, walking distance to piccadilly Station, Oxford Road station, shudehill. Centre of town for night out in northern Quarter, Printworks etc. The location is amazing. The bedroom was small but spotless. There was a little kitchen down the hallway. The only downfall is the shared toilets & shower room. There was no sink in the toilet so you then had to find a wash basin. That been said I knew the rooms were not ensuite, so for me personally it wasn't an issue. The keypad was an excellent feature with a code rather than a key, so no stress of not getting back in. We didn't see anyone that worked there at all. But the owner texted me twice to give any assistance, but we didn't need it. I'd highly recommend for a budget place to stay in Manchester, honestly can't be beaten on price or location. There is brittania & sachas in similar proximity but they are outdated and rooms aren't comfy/clean. So this is a much better option. There is a lovely friendly pub downstairs too, but we didn't have time to stop for a drink. I only live 20mins outside city, but i had a friend down for a night so booked here so we didn't need to Uber in & out of town for Xmas markets & night out. I would definitely recommend when I have more visitors for a budget stay. £40 a night for 2 sharing it was perfect for shower & sleep
Essentially a hostel with extra steps but this place is ideal for a cheap tidy and clean room to sleep in for the night in the centre of Manchester. The manager was helpful and courteous and the check-in/out process easier than ever. There is perhaps a lack of security and a few strange features such as no sink in the toilet but in the shower room.
